Gem has been involved with the bulldog for 10 years now.
Gem started showing by handling her mother & father's Rattlenhum Bulldogs before moving away to work for Karina Le Mare (Helmlake) & her partner Glyn Payne (Fearnought).
Gem spent the summer of 2002 puppy training for Pat Dellar (Merriveen). It was then that Gem first handled Pats champions in the showring, namely Champion/World Champion Merriveen Rough N Ready and the beautiful Champion bitch Merriveen Silver Bells.
Then the following year, Gem moved up to Pats where she spent her days (and some nights!) working with the lovely Merriveen Bulldogs, handling in the showring as well as at stud and training plus general care. What an honour!!!
Once moved back to bognor, Gem worked for a top kennel, that kennel was the home of the Vanmore great danes of Laurence Morgan-Evans.
Gem has also had the honour of handling for the famous Britishpride kennel owned by Billy & Margeret Goodwin.
Between all of this, Gem has handled some lovely dogs to some great wins, i.e; Champion Merriveen Touch Of Frost to Best Of Breed & Utility Group 4 at WELKs plus the CC & Best Of Breed at Paington. Then Champion Britishpride King Of Kings to the Reserve CC at Manchester.
Gem also had the honour of being asked by Billy & Margeret Goodwin to handle their Champion bitch, Britishpride Sweet Harmoney at Bulldog Of The Year in 2005, the same year they won the contast with the stunning bitch Champion Britishpride Cavalli - Massive congratualtions to both Billy & Margeret.
Gem handled Showbull Jerico for about 18months winning well including a Best In Show win.
Gem was also campaigning her young bitch Showbull Fanny Ann to many good wins including Best Puppy In Show, Group 1, Puppy Group 1 and Best Puppy In Breed.
Gem recently handled Rattlenhum's one to win Best Puppy Bitch at her very first show.
Gem is looking forward to campaigning Rattlenhum Dirty Day later this year.
